Abington Senior High School, located in Abington, Pa., is one of the schools in the Abington School District. It offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,950 students in grades 10 through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities and computer science. It offers an academic program that includes technical school preparation, honors, college preparation, advanced placement and International Baccalaureate studies. Electives on campus and at its applied technology center allow students to explore a wide range of personal interests and career-related goals. The school encourages students to participate in its extracurricular opportunities in music, art, honor societies, clubs and service organizations and various sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.
