History
The owner, Georgio Malle, a native of the Island of Lesvos Greece, came to Downingtown with his parents Steve and Stella in 1972. He opened his first Restaurant, Palace Pizzeria, in 1976, in 1983 he opened the first Georgio's Restaurant which served Breakfast and Lunch, and he also opened his first bar in 1983 called Father and Son Lounge. In 1987 Georgio began construction of his current Restaurant, Bar and Deli which was completed and opened in 1990. Through the years, the menu has grown from Pizza, Cheese Steaks, Hoagies, Breakfast, to include Greek specialities such as Mousakka, Rack of Lamb, Bakalava and now table-side specialties like Steak Diane, Chateaubriand and Bananas Foster.

Georgio's specializes in Mediterranean Cuisine with a variety of Homemade Greek dishes. We also have table-side prepared entrees and desserts. We have a relaxed candle lit atmosphere in our dining room and comfortable and friendly bar with six flat screen tv's for all your favorite sports. Daily Happy Hour Specials at the bar and Entertainment on the weekend nights.
