Hospice of Lancaster County, established in 1980, is a nonprofit organization that offers medical and health care services to patients throughout Pennsylvania. The center offers diagnosis and treatment to patients suffering from injuries, heart and lung diseases, chronicle illness, long-term disabilities, cancer and Alzheimer's disease. It offers health care services to patients in their own homes through its certified nurses, doctors and trained medical attendants. The center also provides counseling services, support programs, palliative care and health education to patients. Hospice of Lancaster County is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is located in Lancaster, Pa.
