Domestic Abuse Project operates a 24-hour hot line that provides information on emergency housing, medical care and legal options. It also offers a range of support, information and referral services. The project administers various shelter, counseling, advocacy, and community and student awareness programs. Domestic Abuse Project is operated by Family Services, which is an agency that provides effective care programs for individuals, families and groups. Family Services conducts crime victim support, counseling, emergency shelter, training, consulting and youth programs. It oversees the Street Wise Outreach Opportunity Program, also known as SWOOP, which includes education, outreach, individual assessment, treatment, prevention, crisis intervention, and information and referral services.
