History
David holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. After graduation, David moved to New York City to follow his dream that included working as an engineer on the World Trade Center. After a few years, family obligations brought him back to the Chambersburg area where he worked as Chief Structural Engineer for Nassaux-Hemsley and then as Vice President and Principal in Charge of Engineering for Waynesboro Construction Co., Inc. It was during that time that David had a goal of owning his own firm and in 1986, he developed David Black Associates, Inc., a one-person firm at the time. Today, he has added additional employees and has built that firm on trust, honesty, and client relationships.
