Community College of Allegheny County, established in 1966, offers more than 170 academic programs and has an enrollment over 68,000 students. It offers graduate and associate degree programs in accounting, history, agriculture, interior design, liberal arts, architecture, arts, mathematics, athletic training, medical technology, biology, physical sciences, business administration, and chemistry and computer science. The additional courses offered by the college include music education, nursing, business communications, occupational therapy, pharmacy, criminal justice, photography and dentistry. It provides various sports activities to students, such as football, volleyball, golf, softball, baseball and basketball. The services offered by the college include childcare, job placement and transfer assistance, financial aid, tutoring, career planning, and personal and career counseling. It also provides special support programs for students with physical and learning disabilities. Community College of Allegheny County has campuses located in Monroeville, McCandless and West Mifflin, Pa.
