The Cochran Hose Company provides emergency fire service to Sewickley, Haysville, Edgeworth and Glen Osborne, as well as mutual aid to surrounding communites. Under the direction of Fire Chief Jeff Neff, the Station 258 fire company runs a fire prevention program that includes fire investigations and public education. The department is capable of handling various types of emergencies.
