The Central Christian Academy was founded in 1981 and is a ministry of the Central Assembly of God Church in Houston, Pa. It serves more than 225 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its curriculum includes math, spelling, writing, speech, art and music. The Academy offers a pre-k program for children between the ages of 4 and 5, along with a Kindergarten through 8th Grade school structure. The Central Christian Academy provides several sports activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, soccer and volleyball. It also operates an art club, band, cheerleading squad, chorus and student council. Additionally, the school offers a day care program for children between the ages 3 and 8, as well as organizes field trips and speech competitions. The Central Christian Academy is located in Houston, Pa.
