The Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents offers a range of services to children up to the age of 18. The center provides treatment to children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and display symptoms, such as nightmares, frightening thoughts, sleeping disturbances, irritabilities, startle reactions and anger. The Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents offers various therapies to women and children with traumatic grief. The center conducts more than 15 treatment sessions that specialize in posttraumatic stress disorders, depression, anxiety and behavior problems. The Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents additionally offers services to parents, teachers, therapists and pediatricians. It is located in Pittsburgh.
