Founded in 1994, The Center for Advanced Technologies offers classes and summer camps to make students aware of computers, multimedia and advanced technologies. It was established by a partnership between the Altoona Area School District, Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center, and local and regional business and government communities. The center also conducts workshops, seminars and other programs for teachers, school administrators, adult learners and community members. The Center for Advanced Technologies is located in Altoona, Pa.
