HistoryClay on Main has been an important part of the Berks County arts community for many years, serving as an informal gathering place and incubator for creativity. In 2008, Clay on Main became a non-profit corporation.SpecialtiesClay on Main is a non-profit art community and studio resource center. Our mission is to provide artists time and space to create. We serve the local community with a variety of clay arts programs. We teach community classes and workshops in clay for adults and children, host professional workshops, collaborate with other non-profit organizations to offer learning opportunities through art, and hold public lectures and events. We house a cooperative gallery which serves as a venue for the display and sale of members' and guest artists' work. We also host the Half Moon Cafe, a venue for local musicians.
