Bell Socialization Services, located in York, Pa., is a private, nonprofit organization providing treatment for mental disorders, and offers shelter services in York and Adams counties in Pennsylvania. The company was founded in 1966 and was formerly known as the Bell Club. Established by the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary, Soroptimist Club, Catholic Women's Club, Jaycee Wives and the York Jaycees, Bell Socialization Services began as a social club for people being discharged from psychiatric hospitals. It also offers community residential apartment services program that serves people who need to learn skills for community living. Bell Socialization Services additionally provides supported housing and community hospitalization integration project programs.
