History
Steve Albert started building and refinishing hardwood floors in 1994. He worked for several companies in the Bay Area of California and in 2006, he decided it was time to return to Philadelphia in order to start his own company. In January of 2007 Artisan Wood Floors was born and has been growing ever since.

At Artisan Wood Floors we enjoy working closely with our clients to achieve the end results that they desire. The scope of our work includes commercial, retail and residential flooring - with our clients ranging from architects, designers and contractors to home and business owners. Artisan Wood Floors services all of Philadelphia and many of the surrounding counties. Some of the services we offer include: Custom design and layout, installation (including border work and medallions), stains, dyes and finishes, as well as refinishing and repair work. We also specialize in the restoration and refinishing of existing pine floors found throughout the greater Philadelphia region.
