Archbald Pothole State Park is a 150-acre park located in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is named after the Archbald Pothole, a unique geological feature that formed during the Wisconsin Glacial Period around 15,000 years ago. The pothole is 38 feet deep and has an elliptical shape, with the largest diameter measuring 42 feet by 24 feet. The park also features strip mine reclamation on its eastern side, which includes athletic fields in Ed Staback Park.
