Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Spergel provides personalized, high-quality health care to women of all ages. He offers comprehensive services for women through every stage of life, including annual physicals, complete pregnancy care, labor and delivery, prevention and wellness services, cancer screenings, and menopause care. Dr. Spergel also specializes in high-risk obstetrics, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and treatment of urinary incontinence. Dr. Spergel earned his degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Metro Health Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Washington County Medical Society. A clinical assistant professor in the physician assistant studies program at Chatham University, Dr. Spergel has medical staff privileges at Jefferson Hospital and Monongahela Valley Hospital. Through the clinical excellence, cutting-edge technology,and novel research endeavors at the Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Dr. Spergel can provide patients with direct access to enhanced levels of care. AHN offers a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and specialists in maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, breast cancer, women’s cardiovascular care, and behavioral health.
