History
Welcome to The Alexander Benjamin House. We invite you to stay in our charming traditional Victorian inn. The world around this structure has changed in the past 100 years, but, little has on its foundation. Built circa 1880 by Wellington Weaver and his wife Fiana Andreas Weaver, this family treasure has been passed down from generation to generation. For all of its existence, this home has served the community as either a general store, apartments, or a post office (which is currently still on the premises!) The existing barn and garages served as a livery stable and implement shop. In December, 2015, this historical property once again changed hands to the current owner, Jay Poust
