Advent Nutrition is a private practice specializing in the field of clinical nutrition. Terri H Ritchie holds degrees in biology and business from Neumann College and a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, CT. Additionally she received her certification as a clinical nutritionist from the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionist. A nutritional counselor since 1995, she previously worked as a research scientist for the Fitzgerald-Mercy Hospital Cancer Research Program, and has also held research positions in virology, immunology and oncology with the pharmaceutical industry. She has been a frequent guest lecturer for Brandywine Hospital of Chester County, Mothers of Preschoolers ( Berks and Chester County ), Chester County Adult Night School and numerous community health symposiums. She continues to update her knowledge base in nutritional therapies by attending advanced educational seminars through the Institute of Functional Medicine and nutritional post-graduate studies.
