History
Originally established as a Hot Yoga studio by Joe Tuplin in 1999. Sold to Julie Wagoner in 2004 and finally left in the care of owners Annie Adamson and Todd Vogt in 2006. Around that time, the classes diversified to include Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative, Core, and Anusara. In 2015, relocated 2 blocks north on SE 50th Ave. Their new location, the Breathe Building, is a 4,000 sq. ft., Earth Advantage certified building with a cafe (Fern Kitchen), and a wellness center (Prema Health). As the community builds and offerings diversify, they continue to honor their roots in the community and center their growth on deep, personal relationships and yoga.

Our name, Yoga Union Community Wellness Center, expresses our mission: to share the uplifting experience of yoga and wellness among a community gathered in union. Yoga and wellness lead us to grace and purpose, fostering harmony and connection with others. In relationships, we discover our own mind, body, and soul. Yoga Union Community Wellness Center is built on a foundation of mutually beneficial relationships. For fifteen years, our friendly staff, trade participants, and volunteers have sustained our commitment to building community by nurturing relationships, being open to others, and remaining true to our core principles: Gathering together lifts us all.
