West Salem High School is a private, coeducational school that provides education to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers college preparatory courses in various subjects including history, English, fine arts, health, world languages, mathematics and science. It also provides programs in American sign language, business education, and family and consumer science. Its music program includes courses in orchestra, band and choir. Additionally, it provides a wide range of athletic programs, including basketball, cross country, softball, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. The school also has a library providing various books, newspapers, periodicals, electronic databases and Internet access. It has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Salem-Keizer Public Schools. The high school is located in Salem, Ore.
