Founded in 1985, Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency provides public safety communications. The agency provides public safety communications for police, fire and emergency medical service. The agency operates a 24-hour answering system that answers over 460,000 business calls. It also dispatches 11 police agencies and seven fire agencies. In addition, the agency provides radio and data infrastructure for Yamhill and Clackamas counties in Oregon. The center also provides automatic number information and automatic location information. Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency has a staff of more than 75 members serving various departments, including administration, operations, technical and data services departments.
