History
Our winery has its origins with a wine tour of France in 1976 and especially tasting Pinot noirs at the Marche aux Vins on 2, rue Nicolas Rolin in the Burgundy village of Beaune across from the famous Hospices de Beaune. It was there, after sampling over thirty Pinots, that we tasted an amazing and magical Chambertin and we forever fell in love with Pinot noir wines. Also on that visit to France, we discovered Romanesque architecture at Abby de Cluny. This introduction eventually led to us building our Romanesque inspired stone house in 2008 (inspired by San Clemente de Tuhull (1132) in Catalonia, Spain) and to starting the winery in 2012. We have since developed extensive gardens that compliment our edificio. We aim to inspire visitors by sharing experiences with fine food and fine wines with friends in a romantic garden setting.
