Tillamook County Creamery Association is cheesy and proud of it. The association represents more than 150 farmer-owned dairies, nearly all of which are located in Tillamook County in Oregon. It processes a variety of dairy products, including cheese, milk, ice cream, butter, sour cream and yogurt. Cheddar cheeses including varieties such as medium, medium smoked, kosher medium, reduced-fat, sharp, extra sharp, vintage white extra sharp and vintage white extra sharp smoked constitute more than 85 percent of the association s products. Its other cheese varieties include Monterey jack, pepper jack, Colby, Colby jack and reduced-fat Monterey. Tillamook County Creamery Association was established in 1909 by a group of farmers in Tillamook, where the company still has headquarters.
