The Justice and Joy National Collaborative, formerly known as the National Crittenton Foundation, is a national gender justice advocacy organization based in Portland, Oregon. With a mission to achieve social, economic, and political justice for girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people of color, they work towards eradicating all forms of oppression through policy system change, collaborative research, and innovative thought.
As an intergenerational, multi-racial, and multi-ethnic organization, the Justice and Joy National Collaborative centers the voices and experiences of those most impacted by systemic inequalities. They strive to address significant gaps in data about girls and gender-expansive young people of color, while envisioning futures free from police violence and advocating for the well-being and empowerment of marginalized communities.
