Musical instruments are works of art, and I have always felt that they are close to each player’s heart and soul. Seeing the joy of a player whose instrument has been handled with care to be enjoyed again is my passion. Being a Horn Doctor is a lot like being a bit of “Sherlock Holmes, plumber, welder, chemist, jeweler and craftsman of sorts.” I spent more than 20 years developing my craft and learned the trade by apprenticing with a master technician. Upon retiring from 20 years in the corporate world, I opened my shop in McMinnville, Oregon. I am actively involved with the local music community, playing clarinet in the McMinnville Community Band. I also have a passion for composing with a solo piano CD and two symphonic world premieres.
