History
I'm a licensed professional counselor. I started my private practice in 2009 in Seattle where I was also an adjunct professor for Seattle University, a crisis clinician for older adults, and trained law enforcement on dementia and psychosis.
Specialties
I have a general holistic practice helping couples with relationship difficulties, and adults with depression, anxiety, behavioral addictions, postpartum issues, loneliness, a history of trauma, not feeling engaged or in control of their lives. I have a specialty in older adults, working with people suffering from chronic pain and illness; cognitive impairments, memory changes and dementia; hoarding; and grief and loss. I offer marriage and couples counseling, walking meditations, family mediation, and workshops on Focusing (similar to mindfulness) and wellness.
