Established in 1947, Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (PSMFC) helps resource agencies and the fishing industry manage Pacific Ocean resources in a five-state region of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. Based in Portland, Ore., the firm supports ongoing fisheries needs and activities along the West Coast of the United States. It is one of only three Interstate Commissions in the United States today.
