The Oregon Child Development Coalition is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of children and families through advocacy and a range of services that promote growth and independence. It prepares children for school by focusing on early childhood care and education, as well as teacher development. The coalition promotes economic opportunities for families and communities by providing services to families and communities that support the work force and state and local economies. The Oregon Child Development Coalition, established in 1971, offers services to more than 3,000 children and families in need in over 10 counties in Oregon.
