Founded in 1971, Oregon Child Development Coalition is a private, nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors. The organization is one of the largest child development and care networks in Oregon. It provides family-focused, comprehensive child development services to children of up to 6 years. The organization receives funds from Oregon Child Care Division to provide after school child care for infants and toddlers in Clackamas and Jackson counties in Oregon. The United States Department of Agriculture provides meals to children participating in programs organized by the coalition. It provides services through a comprehensive approach in collaboration and partnership with a variety of private and public organizations in the community.
