HistoryVikki attended many courses on muscle anatomy and physiology at Oregon State University which involved dissecting cadavers. Her passion for assessing and working with people who have chronic injuries/pain was further embedded during these times in massage school, as she learned the value of deep tissue, myofascial, and neuromuscular techniques in facilitating tissue healing. She learned the science behind how the tissue is structured and connected to the body and also the art of releasing tension in those muscles and allowing them to fully melt without physical discomfort or great force. In late 2002, Vikki became a licensed massage therapist. The knowledge that she acquired at OSU coupled with the techniques she learned at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage gave her the expertise she needed to run a private practice with a focus on fibromyalgia, chronic low back pain, auto accident injuries, chronic headaches, general aches and pains, sports injuries and much more.SpecialtiesVikki Fuhrman and the Bodyology Clinic serves the Corvallis, Oregon community and its surrounding areas with progressive and professional therapeutic massage and providing wellness support.
