Springfield High School
Springfield High School offers honors programs and advanced placement courses in literature, composition, calculus and history. It also offers programs in biology, math, business, visual arts, vocational studies and foreign languages. The school offers several elective programs in band, orchestra, choir, guitar, drawing and painting, graphic arts, glass, ceramics and theater. In addition, the school offers applied arts programs in drafting, woods, metals, publishing, early childhood education, business studies and marketing. It also offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, soccer, cross country and volleyball. Springfield High School operates various student organizations, including the National Honor Society, a choir, band, and chemistry, French and theater clubs. Located in Springfield, Ore., the school is a part of Springfield Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
