History
Mac's Place is the oldest building on the Silverton National Historic Registry! The building survived the fire of 1885 and was the only building in downtown to survive the fire of 1934! In May of 2002 Mac's became an addition to the Wooden Nickel Pub & Eateries, Inc. Today it's famous for it's live music & ever-changing nightly specials such as whole trout, elk burgers, osso bucco, fried green tomatoes & southern fried frog legs! Our every day menu staples like our great build-your-own burgers & pizzas continue to fill the gap of 'what's good to eat' in our quaint small town of just over 9000 residents! Hand painted art and murals by local artist Kelly Farrah as well as rare photographs of historic Silverton adorn the walls and our outdoor heated deck! The largest, and certainly most beautiful, outdoor seating available on the scenic Silver Creek! Expanded in 2010, our deck seating area is open year-round with heat reaching every table to keep you warm on those chilly Willamette
