I became a bird owner back in 1998. Before the inernet was the way to find info. I set out to read every book in our public liberary. I had found my passion. I frequented a bird shop where I became friends with one of the employee's. I wanted very much to work there, and was soon hired. I had to work my way up the ladder as most do. I learned every aspect of bird care, from cleaning to their well being. I worked at this business for 10 years. Making sure the birds got out of their cages to play and excersise , a huge part of my job. Social interaction and affection was important . The routine the birds had enriched thier lives. I continued this routine at home with my own birds. Several years working at this job, I found that there was a need for bird/parrot babysitting. I started out with business cards and word of mouth from the bird store, and soon had a small client base. I am now a full time birdie nanny, in my home with a growing number of steady clients. I love my job and birds!

Certified and professional, loving care of your pet bird (s). In Business since 2002. This is a home based business with 24 hour care. Parrot care takes special knowledge, as we all know. Enjoy your time away with out concern for your dear ones well being. Interaction and stimulation of other feathered friends is a treat in its self for your pet. And on top of that...Birds are rotated during the day for out of cage play or just for a new view if your bird is a perch potato. If you feel your bird should be left in the cage for its safety or mine, that is fine too.I meet all birds on their level, which means i have the ability to read bird body language. Give your Bird/Parrot a vacation too...think of it as birdie camp. I have been open 24/7 since 2002. Recently i have changed my weekend hours for drop off and pick up to a 2 hour window, 10 to noon. This allows me much needed time to give one on one with all of the birds, yours and mine. Also...much needed time with my family. I truly hope you will find these hours convenient. Remember...I am only closed to the public...Not the care of your bird[s] on these two days. Thank you for taking the time to consider LLCB as your birdies home away from home.
