History
Los Roast began as a New Mexico green chile roasting operation in Portland, Oregon. We brought our first roaster to a New Mexican food cart in Portland to roast enough green chile to last the winter. After welding the roaster into a truck bed for mobility, we ordered a ton of chile from Hatch and Los Roast had our first chile season.
Specialties
We strive to bring the best New Mexico grown chile products to markets, roasting fresh chile in Portland during the season (Aug-Sept) and producing jars of chopped chile and traditional (and x-hot) green and red chile sauces throughout the year.
