History
Kate started her pie baking at the age of eleven with her Grandma Jean for whom the business is named after, but Lauretta Jean's didn't become Lauretta Jean's until Kate moved to Portland in her mid-twenties. The business started in Kate's Kitchen, baking pies for friends and family and quickly grew into the Portland Farmers Market. After a year at the Market she occupied the space once ran by Cafe Velo, and once again grew after a year to what is now Lauretta Jean's on Division.
