KOBI Television s parent company is California Oregon Broadcasting, a family-owned broadcast franchise based in Medford, Oregon. The channel is affiliated with the National Broadcasting Company. It airs various news, entertainment and music programs. It broadcasts various news programs, featuring local, national and international news, and health and technology. Its programs include Heroes, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The channel airs local and national sports with the NBC 5 Sports team. KOBI Television operates from Medford, Ore. The television channel was the first station to operate in stereo and the first Medford station to employ electronic news gathering technology.
