Chara Elaine Rydzak, M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. With a background in Cardiothoracic imaging and a focus on Public and Global Health, Dr. Rydzak is dedicated to innovation in medical education and strives to create a diverse and inclusive community. She is passionate about using radiology images to educate the public on important health topics and is particularly interested in lung cancer screening and interstitial lung diseases.
Dr. Rydzak obtained her medical education at Harvard University, completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued a Body Imaging Fellowship at Stanford University. She brings her expertise and experience to the OHSU Diagnostic Imaging Clinic, where she sees patients and contributes to program development.
