The Division of Finance and Corporate Securities, also known as DFCS, is part of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, which is one of the largest regulatory and consumer protection agencies in Oregon. It provides a range of financial services, products and information for citizens. The division promotes a business climate that provides innovative financial services to public and ensures the safety of financial transactions for individual, business and governmental units. The Division of Finance and Corporate Securities has more than 14 programs, including depository, nondepository and security. Located in Salem, Ore., the Division of Finance and Corporate Securities is a part of the state of Oregon, which operates the Department of Consumer and Business Services, as well as Fiscal and business services, insurance and information management divisions.
