Elise's creative interests is the merging of art with science. She achieves this through her ongoing investigations of astronomy, physics, the unknown and the celestial. In 1996, she began teaching encaustic painting and has been instrumental in elevating the popularity of the medium, and has taught throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. Since purchasing her home and studio in 2002, Elise has curated several shows, taught hundreds of small group and one on one workshops along with offering studio visits by appointment and hosting numerous public sales events in her studio.
