History
We started this kennel/daycare because there seemed to be a need in the area for a facility that catered to what a dog would like. That would be secure, wide open spaces to run and play their hearts out. I had been a Registered Nurse for 12 years before that point and was anxious to pursue my dream of working with animals. I had been raised in Alaska around many animals, both wild and domestic. In my heart, I knew I'd end up making the lives of animals somehow better. Over the years, I've formed wonderful relationships with countless dogs as well as their owners. Word of mouth has been my best form of advertisement, as I have many loyal customers.
Specialties
Our kennel offers a fun place to leave your dog so they can have their own vacation. We have 3 acres of grassy, outdoor play areas and a large pond for your dogs enjoyment. Dogs are outside playing with other, compatible dogs for at least 6 hours a day, usually much longer in the summer months. Our kennels are a spacious 5' x 23' which consist of a nightroom where the dogs sleep at night and an outdoor run they can access during the day. Dogs only use their kennel during the evening/night and for a 3-4 hr. rest period in the afternoon. We do need to screen all new dogs to ensure everyone has a safe and secure place to play.
