History
The Cornerstone Cafe was purchased in May of 2008, in a joint venture between Mark and Viki Overbay and their son Dustin. It is a dream come true for them. Viki has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. Some notable restaurants include Sands Regency in Nevada and Oregon Restaurant Concepts- affilliated with Tillamook Ice Creamery and lobster houses in Maine. Dustin started in the restaurant business at the ripe old age of 16 in lobster houses, later moving to Oregon. Dustin studied at the Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland earning his culinary degree there. After graduation, Dustin worked for a local specialty bakery in Lake Oswego. The restaurant features american style cuisine. The restaurant works diligently to use local ingredients and to support local businesses.
