HistoryBrad, the owner, received his MBS from Oklahoma State University. Though he always wanted to open his own business, he accepted a job in aviation being the marketing manager for an ad-hoc private charter company. After several years in the industry and 9/11, Brad left the industry to pursue other interests. After working for a local tree company for almost two years, the decision was made to go into business for himself. Plans to open the business January 1, 2008 were changed due to the major ice storm of December 2007. Custom Cuts Tree Care has grown from two employees to eight and has become a significant player in the greater Tulsa tree care market. Custom Cuts maintains that through social media and word of mouth, conventional advertising such as yellow pages and billboards is avoided.
