History
Take 2: A Resonance Cafe provides more than just great food; it's an initiative by Resonance Center for Women to help women change for good. Opened in 2016 by Resonance with Tom Butcher as General Manager,we began serving fresh meals prepared daily by Tom, former owner of Impressions, and his staff - Resonance clients working to make positive life changes and break a cycle synonymous with the criminal justice system. Enjoy Take 2 featured items like the Jeb Perry Prime Rib sandwich, the Stacked Deck, Baked Potatoes, fresh deli sides, and homemade desserts served with the satisfaction of knowing you're helping someone live their second chance. Chef Lia Lewis became General Manager in 2018 bringing her culinary skills to the program and continuing the tradition of serving delicious food while helping Resonance clients learn important skills and enter the workforce after incarceration. Our goal is to help our clients, our customers, and our community.
