History
South Community Church started out of the need for people to live Spirited lives and have Godly community together. Again, we know it's not a new idea, just one we feel like a church should be holding to the highest priority. We feel like this can be overlooked on a daily basis and result in such a rut of existence that God had no intention for us. South Community Church is non-denominational. Yes, we hold to the fundamentals of the faith. We believe in the One, True God of the Bible, His one and only Son Jesus Christ, including the virgin birth, His ministry life, the crucifixion, death, resurrection, and ascension, that give us life everlasting. We also believe whole heartedly that the Spirit of God dwells (1 Corinthians 6:19) within every believer and that we can live with that same power Jesus lived, every day of our lives!
