CASS Polymers, Inc., whose subsidiaries date back more than 70 years, was established in 1997 in Oklahoma City, OK and has frequently been ranked as one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in the State over the past 18 years. The Company is tightly focused on the development and expansion of its specialty coatings and aerospace adhesives businesses operated through its wholly-owned subsidiaries Milamar Coatings and Bacon Industries.
Milamar Coatings, operating from the Company’s technology and coatings center in Oklahoma City, formulates and markets a very broad line of specialty coatings through the trade names of Milamar Coatings, PolyMax Coatings, Protective Floorings & Linings, International Coatings, Deco Effects and SUPERCOAT. It also manufactures specialty coating and floor adhesive products under private label relationships for some of the largest companies in the United States. The coatings applications addressed by these lines include light industrial and decorative flooring and wall coating materials; heavy industrial applications requiring extreme chemical or abrasion resistance; industrial linings; and do-it-yourself coatings. Chemical platforms for the Company’s products include epoxy, urethane, acrylic, vinyl ester and other leading edge formulations.
Bacon Industries, based in Irvine, California, was formed in 1938 as a developmental laboratory serving the United States Government and private industry. Bacon’s products are produced for the largest aerospace and defense companies in the United States as well as many foreign entities. Application areas and product lines include highly sensitive adhesives, sealants, bonding materials, potting compounds, impregnating resins and special dielectric systems. Our chemists and engineers supply valuable recommendations in the selection of the correct system, ideal packaging, handling procedures as well as proper production control methods.
Through associated ownership, CASS Polymers has a strong supplier relationship to provide military-specified coatings for CASS Services, an El Reno, Oklahoma based entity that currently operates as a contractor for the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWAC) remanufacturing AM-2 matting for Expeditionary Airfield activities. CASS Services has supported NAWAC since the early 1970’s and is responsible for coating more than 20 million square feet of runway surface utilizing CASS Polymers’ coatings.
CASS entities have supported general industry and governmental entities for nearly eight decades. With over 500 specialty products, formulated and manufactured in our facilities in Oklahoma and California and marketed globally, we offer a variety of solutions for customers in a multitude of industries.
