Neans Denson, APRN-CNP
I chose to go into medicine to help patients, to help people. I've always been a caring person. When I was a kid growing up, my father nicknamed me Nurse Neans, so I guess I've always been meant to do this. I chose family medicine to see all the ages. I like to see the babies and the kids. Everything happens so quickly during that time. I love teenagers. I have a couple of teenagers of my own and they're fun to watch and how their minds work. And as an adult, I can appreciate all that we go through during the adult years. And I love and appreciate our long-lived patients. I want my patients to know that I'm going to listen to them, to help them meet whatever their goal might be, whatever their need is, to be cheering them on, treating them as I would my own family. I'm going to be there with them, to listen to them. Being a nurse for years, I'm a very good listener and helping patients meet their needs is very important to me.
