Great Plains National Bank provides financial products and serves to individuals and businesses throughout Southwest Oklahoma. It offers customers checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, CDs, IRAs, mortgage loans, commercial loans, home improvement loans, Internet banking, telephone banking, safe deposit boxes, overdraft protection, escrow services, ATM cards, debit cards and credit cards. The bank traces its roots to the early 20th century when it was founded as The Groves National Bank of Hollis, Oklahoma. During the depression of the 1930 s, when the infamous 'bank holiday' was called by President Roosevelt, Great Plains Bank was one of the few banks in the country granted permission to remain open. Its main branch is still located in Hollis and it operates additional branches in Eldorado, Sayre, Elk City, Mangum and Granite, Okla.
