Choctaw Elementary School is one of the elementary schools governed by the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through sixth. Its curriculum includes English language, reading program, science, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. Its language program includes integrated reading and writing, and offers activity-based programs in math and science. Its library media center has a collection of more than 16,000 reference materials, including books, audiovisual materials and equipment. Choctaw Elementary School has been participating in the Boxtops for Education program since 1999, and the prize money is used to buy books, ribbons, medals, and other items for the media center.
