About John Young At this point in his life, John Young is more optimistic about the future than he's ever been - thanks to American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL). "American Income Life is the greatest career choice I've made," John says. "I have been a successful leader in my previous endeavors, but nothing compares to American Income." John learned his 'can-do' attitude in the Marines and his confidence in the business world from working his way up to the executive level in the timeshare industry. But it wasn't until he joined AIL in 2009 that John felt as though he'd found his calling. Attracted to AIL for the residual income and the potential for financial security, he soon discovered an equally satisfying reward: Helping families. "I love what we do, especially when I walk out of a house and know that family is better off than when I walked in. Our products protect families in many ways. Not only do we help protect their families financially, we also help protect them physically with the Child Safe Kits. Even if they don't enroll, we've educated them," John says. He believes his greatest accomplishments at AIL have been helping others gain the confidence to reach their goals and developing their leadership skills - though John is quick to credit his team with contributing to his success. "I became an MGA within nine months of joining the Company. The only way I could do this was with an incredible team. As a team, WE were promoted to MGA," he says. He lets others know if they're willing to work hard today, AIL can provide a secure career that generates long-term income for tomorrow. John emphasizes that AIL's system allows for success to be duplicated over and over again. "We're taking people who have never believed they could make 'real' money and showing them that not only is it possible, if they follow the systems in place, it is probable," he says. When he's not protecting families or helping others make the most of Opportunity Unlimited, John enjoys fishing, the great outdoors, and playing poker. He loves to travel and looks forward to one day exploring Europe and Africa. John 'gives back' by supporting two of his favorite charities - Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As for the future, John wants to continue growing his team and helping the local economy by providing careers to those wanting a great opportunity. "Come on board, listen to your leader, and follow their advice. They have a vested interest in your success," he says. "You will hit hurdles, as in any business, but like the hurdler, keep your eye on the finish line and you won't trip up."
