About A.W. Brueggemann Company A.W. Brueggemann Company manufactures and specializes in bronze and steel backed babbitt bearings since 1928 A.W. Brueggemann Company is a third generation family owned, with 80% of the staff having at least 30 years of experience in the industry. Arthur Brueggemann established the business in 1928 specializing in rebabbitting connecting rods and automotive repair. Art's sons Harold and Warren, both with engineering degrees from Oklahoma State University, entered the business after graduation. During the 30's and 40's oilfield concerns were often handicapped by the length of time required to replace worn out bearings. Since Art had the rebabbitting equipment a number of oilfield companies contacted Art's Machine Shop and the company entered into the bearing business. The third generation includes Mike, Warren Jr., Geoffrey, and Jennefer to continue the standard that their grandfather established. In 1979, the business name changed to A.W. Brueggemann Company, Inc in honor of Art. A.W. Brueggemann Company is centrally located in the heart of the United States for quick fast shipping needs of bronze and steel babbitt lined bearings. Today Jennefer and Geoffrey are leading the company into the 21st century.
