Walnut Grove Country Club was first known as Green-Mont Country Club. The property straddles the Greene and Montgomery county line. In 1935, articles of incorporation were filed and the new corporation officially became known as Walnut Grove Country Club. Since that beginning, Walnut Grove has become one of the premier country clubs in the Dayton, Ohio area. It is a fair, yet challenging and to play it well, a golfer must be able to execute a variety of shots with every club in his or her bag. Walnut Grove s signature hole is the 444 yard, 11th hole, consistently ranked as the toughest par four hole in Dayton. As a full service country club, Walnut Grove has the facilities and services to handle a variety of social, business and family activities. In addition, it constantly strives to improve all facets of the club to better serve the changing needs of its membership.
